Elle began her show career by winning the Puppy Bitch class at the Adelaide Royal Show at the tender age of
6 months and 2 days. Later that month she was placed first in the Minor Puppy Bitch class
at the Royal Melbourne Show.
At Brisbane Royal in 1999 she took Reserve Challenge and Runner-up Best of Breed from the Junior Class.
After attaining her title at 14 months she took a Runner-up in Show and a Best in Show at
Championship Shows within a month.
Elle was a consistent Best in Group and Class in Show winner under both Australian and International judges.
Ellie attained her Grand Champion title with ease, the first of our dogs to do so.
She was a multi BEST IN SHOW winner, and has titled progeny doing very well in the show ring.
One of her daughters is now in the USA and is major pointed.
Her daughter, 'Secret', gained her Grand Champion title, with multiple BEST IN SHOW award's.
In 2006, Ellie was BEST OF BREED at the Royal Melbourne Show, following her Runner Up Best of Breed in 2005 to her
daughter Secret!
As Ellie aged, she was shown very occassionally in the Veterans Class. At her last show in 2008, she won the much sought after Veterans Sweepstakes at the Bacchus Marsh Kennel Club. A fitting end to a great career.
Sadly, Ellie is no longer with us, and we miss her terribly.
